Get ready to smell the fresh cut grass of the practice fields.
The Tampa Bay Bucs announced when the team will open training camp practices to fans. For 2024, 10 practice dates have been set to choose from with eight of those ten being for select groups.
Two practices will be open to the general public on Thursday, July 25 and Friday, August 2. The club will host seven practices exclusively for Krewe Members, suite owners, corporate partners and other select groups, and will conclude its open portion of training camp with Military Day.
Fortunately, nine of the team’s ten viewable practices will take place in the morning beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET to limit that scorching Florida heat and humidity. They will also have the ever popular night practice in the team’s indoor practice facility on Tuesday, July 30, starting at 7:00 p.m., however only open to Krewe Members.
“We look forward to once again welcoming our fans back to the Advent Health Training Center for the start of training camp as we prepare for another memorable season of Bucs football,” said Bucs Chief Operating Officer Brian Ford. “Our players and coaches love the added energy that our fans bring during training camp and this season we have raised the number of open practices to 10 in order to accommodate even more fans.”
But if you want to see your favorite players in pads for the first time, that will only be open to Krewe members on Monday, July 29 for the first padded practice of the summer. This is to be in compliance with the NFL’s health and safety policy where the first five days of training camp will consist of the on-field acclimation period for players, in which practices will not be padded.
