The Tampa Bay Bucs no longer hold the top spot in the NFC, losing to the Detroit Lions on Monday night. They are still in firm control of the NFC South race, but they fell behind both the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles and Bucs share an identical 5-2 record, but Philly is 4-1 in the NFC while Tampa is 3-2 in the conference. That’s the tiebreaker there. Tampa Bay’s win over San Francisco keeps them from falling all the way to fourth, as the lead the 49ers with that head-to-head tiebreaker.
