Appears the Bucs will be missing their starting right tackle again this week

There was hope for the Bucs that right tackle Luke Goedeke would be able to make his return in week four against the Philadelphia Eagles after missing the last two games with a concussion.

Unfortunately though, that doesn’t appear to be the case as Tampa Bay has downgraded the right tackle to out for this week’s game.

This news comes after Goedeke participated in practice during the week and it was looking like he would be able to be cleared from concussion protocol but the Bucs will have to wait a little longer. Concussions are always tricky. Usually comes down to waking up one day and not feeling any symptoms. Hopefully it is nothing serious for Goedeke.

To say that the Bucs could use Goedeke in the lineup is an understatement. They have struggled to protect Baker Mayfield in back to back weeks including giving up seven sacks last week to Denver.

Bucs will once again be relying on Justin Skule to take over at right tackle. Hopefully Goedeke is able to return sooner rather than later to help out a Tampa Bay offensive line that hasn’t looked the same since he has been out.
