Mike Evans gets recognized as one of the league’s best.
Tampa Bay Bucs‘ star wide receiver Mike Evans has been substantially underrated for the better portion of his career. Evans has had 1,000 yards receiving every season he’s been in the NFL, he is a Super Bowl champion, he has set team records, as well as, statistical records for an individual, and he is actively chasing history again— Currently questing for Jerry Rice’s consecutive 1,000-yard season streak.
Nipping on the heels of that history, Evans received an attaboy from former NFL GM Jeff Diamond—

Evans’ longevity is undoubtedly a part of his journey. The receiver’s lengthy list of career accomplishments, along with his warrented placement on Diamond’s rankings, should come as no surprise to Bucs’ fans who have been watching Evans dominate the league since the team selected him seventh overall in 2014 NFL Draft.
While Tampa Bay’s past and present, are and have been, held down by Evans, their future looks bright as well. Diamond’s second list, ‘Top 25 players under 25,’ featured another Tampa Bay Buccaneer— Tristan Wirfs. Wirfs and Evans will play leading roles as the Tampa Bay Bucs attempt to duplicate their success from a season ago.
