– The Bucs defeated the Eagles, 33-16, to improve to 3-1 on the year. At 3-1, Tampa Bay owns sole possession of first place in the NFC South, and has now held at least a share of the division lead in 47 of the last 55 weeks dating back to Week 4 of the 2021 season.
– The Bucs improved to 6-1 in their last seven contests against Philadelphia (including playoffs) dating back to the 2015 season, with a 4-1 mark against them in five games since the start of the 2021 season. Across their last five games against the Eagles, Tampa Bay has averaged 358.6 net yards of offense per game. Tampa Bay has defeated Philadelphia by an average of 9.6 points per contest across their last five meetings – the highest average point differential among any opponent they’ve played multiple times since the start of the 2021 season.
– Tampa Bay outgained Philadelphia, 445-227 (+218). The +218 yardage differential marked Tampa Bay’s 14th-largest yardage margin in franchise history, and the largest since outgaining the Miami Dolphins by 257 yards on Oct. 10, 2021. – Philadelphia’s 227 yards of offense was their fewest in a contest since they recorded 213 net yards of offense, also versus Tampa Bay, on Oct. 14, 2021. Similarly, the Bucs yielded just 114 net passing yards to Philadelphia on Sunday, the fewest the Eagles have recorded since posting 113 net passing yards on Oct. 14, 2021, versus Tampa Bay.
– The Eagles recorded zero net yards of offense in the first quarter of the game, marking the lowest offensive output by a Bucs opponent in the first quarter of a game since Oct. 27, 2002, against the Carolina Panthers (-10).
– The Bucs defense generated 6.0 sacks on the day, tied for their second-most in a game since the start of the 2020 season, and their most in a game since Sept. 17, 2023 against Chicago (6.0).
– QB Baker Mayfield completed 30-of-47 passes (63.8%) for 347 yards and two passing touchdowns, with zero interceptions, to earn a passer rating of 100.2. Mayfield also added four carries for 10 yards and one rushing touchdown. Through four games, Mayfield has completed 91-of-129 passes (70.5%) for 984 yards and eight passing touchdowns compared to two interceptions, good for a passer rating of 106.9. Through Sunday’s 1:00 p.m. games, Mayfield’s 106.9 passer rating ranks fourth in the NFL, with his eight passing touchdowns ranking second in the NFL.

– WR Mike Evans brought in a team-high eight receptions for 94 yards and one touchdown. With his touchdown reception, Evans surpassed Martín Gramatica (592) for the most points scored in franchise history. In becoming Tampa Bay’s leading scorer in franchise history, Evans joins Hall of Famers Jerry Rice (SF) and Emmitt Smith (DAL) as the only non-kickers in NFL history to lead a franchise in points scored.
– Evans’ touchdown catch was the 97th receiving touchdown of his career, giving him sole possession of the 12th-most receiving touchdowns in NFL history. Additionally, in today’s contest, Evans surpassed Hall of Famers Don Maynard (11,834) and Antonio Gates (11,841) for the 31st-most receiving yards in NFL history.
– Evans also tied Mike Alstott (158) for the ninth-most games played in club history.
– WR Chris Godwin finished with six receptions for 69 yards, with which he eclipsed 7,000 career receiving yards and joined Mike Evans as the only players in franchise history to reach that milestone. Through Sunday’s 1:00 p.m. games, Godwin ranks third in the NFL in receptions (27), fifth in receiving yards (322), and tied for third in receiving touchdowns (3).

– RB Rachaad White and RB Bucky Irving each logged 49 rushing yards across 10 carries, with White adding 35 receiving yards and Irving recording his first career rushing touchdown. As a team, Tampa Bay carried the ball 25 times for 111 yards (4.4 avg.) and two touchdowns.
– LB Lavonte David finished with a team-high eight tackles (two for loss), 2.0 sacks, one forced fumble, one pass defensed and one quarterback hit. With today’s performance, David surpassed 1,500 career tackles and joined Hall of Famer Derrick Brooks as the only players in team history to reach that milestone.
– David’s two sacks increased his career total to 35.5, surpassing Chidi Ahanotu and giving him sole possession of the seventh-most in franchise history. Additionally, David recorded his 30th career forced fumble in Sunday’s contest, tied with Khalil Mack (LAC) for the most among all active players. His 30 career forced fumbles are the most by any inside linebacker in NFL history (since forced fumble data became available in 1994).

– NT Vita Vea recorded three tackles (two for loss), 1.0 sack and one tackle for loss in his first game back after missing time with an injury. His sack was his first of the season and increased his career total to 24.5 – the14th-most in franchise history.
– OLB Yaya Diaby recorded a strip sack of Jalen Hurts for his first sack of the season, increasing his career sack total to 8.5.
– DL Logan Hall amassed three tackles (one for loss), 1.0 sack and one pass defensed. His sack was his first of the season and increased his career total to 4.0.
– OLB Anthony Nelson logged Tampa Bay’s final sack of the day, dropping Jalen Hurts for a seven-yard loss. It was Nelson’s first sack of the season, and it increased his career total to 15.5.
– CB Jamel Dean finished with five tackles and two passes defensed. It was his 10th career game with multiple passes defensed and his first since Oct. 26, 2023, at Buffalo.
– K Chase McLaughlin went 2-for-2 on field goal attempts in Sunday’s victory, converting from 21 yards and 52 yards out. Dating back to last season, McLaughlin has made 25 consecutive regular season field goals.
