– The Bucs generated 420 net yards of offense in Sunday’s victory, marking their seventh game this season in which they accumulated 400-or-more yards of offense. – QB Baker Mayfield completed 18-of-29 passes (62.1%) for 295 yards and three touchdowns compared to two interceptions to earn a passer rating of 101.9. With his performance today, Mayfield tied his career high (28 in 2023) for passing touchdowns in a single season. His 28 passing touchdowns are tied with himself and Jameis Winston (28 in 2016) for the fourth-most single season passing touchdowns in franchise history. It marked White’s third career multi-touchdown game, but the first in which he recorded a score on the ground and in the air. White joined San Francisco’s Christian McCaffrey as the only players to have 10+ rushing touchdowns and 10+ receiving touchdowns since the start of the 2022 season.
– With his touchdown reception on Sunday, White surpassed Warrick Dunn and James Wilder (nine) for the second-most receiving touchdowns by a running back in franchise history, trailing only Mike Alstott (13).
– WR Jalen McMillan put forth a season-best performance on Sunday, hauling in a season-high-tying four receptions and establishing new season highs in receiving yards (59) and receiving touchdowns (two). McMillan became the first Tampa Bay rookie with multiple receiving touchdowns in a single game since O.J. Howard did so in Week 7 of the 2017 season against Buffalo.
– TE Cade Otton brought in three receptions for a team-high 70 yards, including a career-long 44-yard reception late in the fourth quarter that helped secure Tampa Bay’s victory. With today’s performance Otton surpassed Calvin Magee (1,379) for the ninth-most receiving yards by a tight end in team history. After Sunday’s game, Otton has 57 receptions on the season, surpassing Timothy Wright (54 in 2013) and Rob Gronkowski (55 in 2021) for the sixth-most single season receptions by a tight end in franchise history.
– WR Mike Evans logged a team-high-tying four receptions for 69 yards. In Sunday’s game, Evans tied Pro Football Hall of Famer John Lynch (164) for the seventh-most games played in team history.
– LB Lavonte David recorded a team-high-tying seven tackles (one for loss), 1.0 sack, one quarterback hit and one fumble recovery. David’s fumble recovery marked the 19th of his career – most among all players since David entered the league in 2012. With his sack on Sunday, David increased his season sack total to 4.0 and his career sack total to 37.5.
– S Kaevon Merriweather tallied a career-high seven tackles and notched his first career sack.
– DB Tykee Smith logged three tackles, two passes defensed and an interception in Sunday’s win, marking his second interception of the season. Smith is one of three players with two-or-more interceptions and three-or-more forced fumbles this season, along with Atlanta’s Jessie Bates and San Francisco’s Fred Warner.
– DL Calijah Kancey collected three quarterback hits on the day, giving him six straight games with at least one quarterback hit and 12 quarterback hits on the season across his eight games played. His six straight games with at least one quarterback hit are the most by a Buccaneer since Shaquil Barrett did so in 13 straight games in the 2021 season. Kancey’s 12 quarterback hits this year are tied for third-most among players with 350-or-fewer defensive snaps this season, trailing only Detroit’s Aidan Hutchinson (17) and Dallas’ Carl Lawson (13).
