Tampa Bay’s young players are hitting statistical milestones.
– With 31 seconds remaining in the game, Cade Ottonhauled in a go-ahead 11-yard touchdown pass fromBaker Mayfield to lead the Bucs to a 29-25 win over the Atlanta Falcons, reclaiming first place in the NFC South division.
– Baker Mayfield threw for 144 yards and two touchdowns in the game, with no interceptions, while also rushing for a third touchdown. The rushing touchdown marked his first with Tampa Bay and the seventh of his NFL career. Mayfield now has four career seasons with 20-or-more touchdown passes.
– In his 100th career game, Chris Godwin surpassed the 500-reception milestone, joining Mike Evans as the only players in team history with 500-or-more receptions for Tampa Bay. Per TruMedia records, Godwin also became just the 30th player in league history with 500-plus receptions in his first 100 career games. Godwin finished with a team-high five receptions for 53 yards.
– In his career vs. Atlanta (13 games), Godwin has 72 receptions for 998 receiving yards (76.8 receiving yards per game) and nine receiving touchdowns.
– Rachaad White led the team with a career-high 135 yards from scrimmage (102 rushing, 33 receiving), including a 31-yard receiving touchdown. Through Sunday’s 1 p.m. games White ranks third among running backs in scrimmage yards this season. He has gone over 100 scrimmage yards in three consecutive games.
