Taking a look at a few prop bets for Week 1.
The Tampa Bay Bucs are home to take on Washington for their regular season opener. We’ve already shared some staff picks along with the latest lines, so here we’ll share some prop bets that may be intriguing for fans to dive into.
Below are the prop bets for the Bucs Week 1 matchup against Washington, courtesy of our friends over at FanDuel.
Baker Mayfield Touchdowns
Quarterback Baker Mayfield has gotten a good grasp of the new offense installed by new offensive coordinator Liam Coen. He moved the ball decently in preseason, albeit for one lone drive in preseason. But proved it throughout training camp. FanDuel has set an over of 1.5 touchdowns for Mayfield in Week 1 with a -146 on the over.
Rachaad White Rushing Yards
Third-year running back Rachaad White is RB1 heading into the 2024 season. Head coach Todd Bowles has emphasized the importance of running the football this season, and Coen has big plans for White in his offense. White looked good in camp and looks to build off a 2023 campaign where he fell just a few yards shy of 1,000 yards rushing. FanDuel has set rushing yards prop bet aover/under of 57.5 yards at -113.
A decent rookie performance?
So many question marks on how Bowles and his defense will do against another rookie quarterback they seem to allow All-Pro performances against. Facing Washington rookie Jayden Daniels will be no exception. FanDuel has an over/under for Daniels rushing yards set at 39.5 with a -113 line, while his over/under in passing yards is set for 218.5 at-113 as well.
