The Bucs and Bengals square off in their first preseason action at Paycor Stadium
The Tampa Bay Bucs are set for their first action of 2024 – and even though it’s preseason it means that football is right around the corner. The Bucs won’t be playing many of their starters while the Cincinnati Bengals will be sending Joe Burrow and many of their first teamers on to the field.
The Bucs are still in the heart of some of the position battles, most notably at nickel corner, wide receiver three, running back, and to see who emerges out of the edge rush rotation. There will be a lot of eyes on the battle between Tykee Smith and Christian Izien while many will be focused on rookies like Graham Barton, Jalen McMillan, and Bucky Irving.
This will also be the first time we will see how the Bucs handle the new kickoff rules with the projected returners being running backs Bucky Irving and Sean Tucker.
The Bucs and Bengals kickoff at 7:00 p.m. ET. Join in the conversation below with your thoughts on how the Bucs look in their first action of the season.
