Not much change on the injury front for either team ahead of a crucial divisional clash.

Both the Bucs and New Orleans Saints face key questions ahead of their critical matchup on New Year’s Eve.

For the Bucs, the primary concern remains both Carlton Davis (concussion) and Shaquil Barrett (groin). There’s still a possibility for Davis, who still has two days to clear protocol, and his presence would be critical to stymie New Orleans’s dangerous deep passing attack.

Barrett is coming off a strong game, so missing him will not only hurt a 4-man pass rush that has struggled throughout the season, but the team will also miss his plus ability to spot drop in coverage.

Other than that, the concerns are fairly minimal. Chris Godwin got his typical rest day on Thursday and should be fully available. The team should get back bit players like Mike Greene (calf) and Rakim Jarrett (quad) from their injured reserve windows.

Ko Kieft (shoulder) seems doubtful to play after logging consecutive DNPs, which would continue to expand rookie Payne Durham’s role in the offense.

On the Saints’ side, they face several more serious questions than Tampa.

Nine players have logged consecutive limited and/or did not practice designations. Chief among them are offensive linemen Ryan Ramczyk (knee) and Erik McCoy (foot), receiver Chris Olave (ankle), defensive end Cam Jordan (ankle), and safeties Lonnie Johnson (knee) and Jordan Howden (illness).

Missing any of these players would be notable blows to a Saints team that faces a do-or-die game to keep their playoff hopes alive.
